Our retreat will take place on a beautiful and secluded 14 acre property in the Caledon area, less than an hour by car from Downtown Toronto. Beautiful landscapes, trails, a practice shala, a filtered clay-bottomed swimming pond, an outdoor fire pit and an infrared sauna are yours to enjoy and explore. We can help organize carpooling to and from Spirit Loft to the centre.
Returning to the Body as Refuge
Our bodies, minds and hearts seek creativity, exploration, the natural environment and variable movement. By leaving the city and committing to practice we can brighten our senses and cultivate intimate relationships with the natural world in the support of community. Through embodied movement, we can remember our true nature of curiosity and playfulness.
Rupturing Illusions of Separateness
Through varied movement patterns and environments, we can learn how to respond to the chaos of life with adaptability and creativity. Relational games and situations strengthen our internal & external awareness so that we can be more receptive and open to the changing dynamics of self and other.
Cultivation Entering the gate of stillness & quietude offers us the gift to slow down time and remember the subtle experiences of being so that we can attune more deeply to our life’s highest purpose.
