Join Angela Jervis-Read for a fascinating and in-depth study of Yin Yoga, a highly beneficial therapeutic practice that is available to all students at all levels. Explore three unique yet complimentary paradigms, Chinese Meridian Theory, Yoga Chakra Theory and Myofascial Anatomy, and their applications to the Yin Yoga practice. Immerse yourself fully to expand the depth of your personal practice and improve your effectiveness to work with students and patients. Learn the Yin Yoga Postures: benefits, contraindications, modifications, prop utilization, sequencing for health benefits, therapeutic application, and working with special populations. Curriculum will also include practice, theory, anatomy, physiology, pranayama, meditation and effective teaching methodology.
This program is open to yoga teachers, dedicated yoga students, manual manipulation therapists, psychotherapists, life coaches, social workers and other healers interested in the psychosomatic relationship.
Attendance of all 6 days plus successful completion of homework and practicum are required for certification.
Fee: $1000 + HST
Payment Schedule: $300 Non-refundable deposit due at registration. Balance payment due Sept. 1, 2017.
