Kristy grew up as a competitive gymnast but after an injury at 19, she was told that she would never do handstands again. Through her twenties she took up other sports and exercise to stay in shape. For years she was a member of a small independent gym and loved every minute of it. They had machines, weights, cardio equipment and an amazing team of staff. Kristy inevitably left because she realized she had everything she needed in her garage. With just a few mats, a homemade pull-up bar and a set of rings she fell in love with bodyweight exercise and exploring new ways to move. She became stronger and happier than she had ever been, even as a competitive athlete.
Kristy believes that performing cool moves, getting stronger and mastering new skills makes her a better person outside the gym. This belief fuels her mission of helping people gain a deep understanding of their body, develop strength and skills to feel alive and empowered. Kristy currently coach’s gymnastics and is a certified lead GMB Fitness Trainer.
