Ella Isakov

A yoga teacher and movement lover. Ella has been teaching yoga since 2008. After graduating with a Psychology undergraduate degree and a Masters in Education she worked overseas where she discovered Ashtanga yoga. In 2007, Ella completed Downward Dog Centre’s teacher training and has since studied with Judith Lasater (whom she assists annually in her Restorative yoga teacher trainings), Ana Forrest, and Seane Corn, to name a few. Ella is a lover of movement and is certified in Yoga Tune-Up, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) and ELDOA, along with being a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist. Ella is passionate about sharing her love of yoga, movement and the healing arts. Her purpose in life has always been to inspire others to delve deeper to uncover their inner knowing and light within so they can lead a life of courage, balance and peace. In a group yoga setting, Ella takes you on a journey to look within with an inclusive explorative playful sequencing, and attention to alignment while weaving in a connection between body, mind and heart. She also integrates mobility and strength exercises to ease tension and pain which can lead to a wider range of movements around your joints. The classes are themed so you will gain an understanding of what is happening in your body, and how you can actively participate in creating greater well-being and harmony within. When Ella isn’t teaching she is probably upside down in handstand or gymnastic rings, playing with her cats or creating her famous raw desserts.
