As a digital media producer, Stephanie has learned to view life through many lenses. It was only when she turned the lens upon herself that she realized how powerful perception can be. For the past decade, her yoga practice has taken her to places that no camera can go – revealing the depths of body, mind, and soul. Her Yoga Teacher Training at Toronto’s Yogaspace was a deeper awakening – unfolding her practice into one of service.
A continued exploration in perception has led her to Blu Matter Project’s “Depression, Anxiety & Trauma Sensitivity Training for Yoga Teachers”, New Leaf Yoga Foundation’s “Yoga For Youth Training”, a continued education in Yoga Philosophy and Sanskrit with Hali Schwartz, and mindfulness practices with Michael Stone and the Spirit Loft community.
The Hatha-inspired practices Stephanie shares are inclusive, accessible, and rich with exploration – honouring the ancient wisdoms, steeped in today’s modern experience. Integrating breath, movement, and mindfulness, while balancing the polarities of effort & ease, her mantra is brought to life; ‘Breath well. Play well. Be well.’
With an open heart, she encourage yogis of all experience levels to awaken their inner teachers, cultivating mindfulness and compassion both on and off the mat.
